Hello, I'm Brandon.

I’m a content strategist driving impact for brands through educational content, integrated digital marketing, and design. I have 5 years experience working with educational institutions, non-profit organizations, and startups. I’ve primarily specialized in creative strategy and creation of long-from content, with hybrid roles responsible for design, project management, and strategic planning. I ground my approach to marketing in a combination of creative intuition and data-backed insights to carve out a strategic plan that connects the dots between organizational objectives and user needs.

Approach

Before starting my career in content marketing, I studied architecture at Washington State University’s School of Design & Construction, followed by three years in the architecture field. My design experience taught me the importance of beginning with a keen understanding of the end user—their needs, values, and goals—then coming up with solutions to their pain points.

Business solutions should operate the same, and marketing is no exception. I begin with a solid understanding of the problem we are trying to solve, get clear about who we are trying to reach, then use a combination of creative intuition and rational left-brained insights to carve out a strategic path forward that connects the dots between organizational objectives and user needs.

Much like any design process, good marketing relies on testing, and iteration— allowing for flexibility to adjust course as needed.
